BOARD NEWS
We announce with great regret that our IWC Vice President, Zalina Stauch, will be stepping down from her position earliest by February 2023. Zalina will need the coming months for trips to her new location, to prepare for the move and to wind down her family’s life here in Belgrade. Zalina has been an IWC board member since 2019. She began as Club Treasurer & has been the Vice President for more than 1 year. During this time she has made innumerable, significant contributions to IWC and she will be greatly missed. After five years in Belgrade, Zalina’s family will be moving from Serbia this summer. We wish her and her family much luck in their new adventures.

Coffee Morning

Our first event of the year will be a chance to gather at one of the oldest museums in the Balkans. The Ethnographic Museum recently celebrated its hundredth anniversary and members are invited to join a tour followed by a showcase of traditional Serbian food and drink. The Serbian food and Slava presentation will be hosted by Serbian members of IWC.

Holistic Group: Vocal Therapy

Ana Tomic is offering a vocal therapy class in her premises on Savski Nasip. During the workshop we actively, experientially learn how to use our own voice in combination with breathing, visualization and movement to recognize and release energy imbalances in our body. By learning active vocal therapy techniques, we create a habit and a feeling, which is the vibration of our voice, a unique energy string when we are at our full potential.

Holistic Group: Essential Oils

On January 24th in the evening at 7 pm, I am organising the same workshop about essential oils I did in December. Because of the interest of women who are not able to join the workshop in the morning, Mia Medakovic kindly offers her home for us. You will learn about the most important essential oils - the so-called "Big Five": lavender, eucalyptus, lemon, peppermint, tea tree and lemon.
In your handout you will find interesting information about the history and oil brands available in Serbia. We are going to talk about the essential oils in more depth and learn how to use them effectively.

ONGOING EVENTS
Walking Group
The walking group welcomes back members in 2023 with an insightful and interesting walk. We will be taking a walk in Sava Church and there will be an interactive program prepared for us. Exceptionally this activity is taking place on a Saturday hence your family, guests and friends are more than welcome. During this insightful journey, we will be briefed on the Serbian Sveti Slava and her Slava. This will take place either on the last Saturday of January or the first Saturday of February. Holistic Group: Gong Therapy
From January 18th onwards, I am offering regular QI Gong sessions in my apartment on Senjak - every Monday and Wednesday from 8:30-9:30 in the morning. Everyone who is interested can join me. The costs of one session (4.800rsd) will be divided among the people attending the class. The classes are held by Sasa Balaneskovic, who was already holding a few classes with the IWC ladies (either in my holistic approach group meetings or was teaching on our weekend trips to Tara and Vrnjacka Banja).
