08.06.2023 from 10:30 to 12:00 | Bel Food Restaurant | Prilučka 4
Our next health talk will be about the pelvic floor. Dr. Nikola Matavulj will show us the importance of the pelvic floor and give us an overview of pelvic floor disorders. We will also talk about current treatments and prevention.
The pelvis is a bony structure containing parts of the digestive and urinary tracts and the internal sex organs. The pelvic outlet is closed by fibromuscular tissue known as the pelvic floor. These muscles and connective tissues support the overlying structures and are under constant tension due to abdominal pressure. A variety of different pathological and/or physiological conditions can cause significant cumulative damage leading to specific disorders. While these conditions are not life threatening, they can be the cause of a suboptimal quality of life.
Fresh healthy drinks and snacks are served afterwards.
IMPORTANT
- Limited to 25 IWC Members and their guests
