Belgrade is not just about gray buildings, concrete residential blocks with messed up crumbling post-war buildings and graffiti. The walking group had an exciting day to enjoy the natural side of this growing city.  We got a bit confused about the last 500m in this forest to find Aleksandar Ski Staza.

We met up at Topcider park in front of Milošev Konak restaurant. From Topčider Park we headed to Aleksandar club - Ski Staza, a dining and recreational area up a hill with a spectacular view of Belgrade (to name some, Senjak and hippodrome etc).  We walked and hiked through the forest.  It is such a peaceful and quiet place to be in.  The altitude of Kosutnjak forest is about 250m.  This forest of coniferous trees is intersected by numerous paths for recreational walks.

At Aleksandar Ski Staza we had a rest, chatted and took our coffee before we headed down back via the cemetery route.
