The widespread grey fog on the morning of Thursday October 28th did not deter the ever-optimistic IWC Walking Group and by 10am, the sky was blue and the sun shone at the Aleksandar Club Ski Slope meeting point. For this walk, we were a group of seven women and three delighted dogs.

Chatting all the while, we followed the lower stone path initially, enjoying a wonderful walk (or scamper, in the case of the very happy dogs) through the bright woodlands with leaves of every shade of autumnal yellow and gold. So good for one’s feeling of well-being! It certainly was a morning to be out-of-doors. Crossing through the athletic area, the bright day was also being enjoyed by many other walkers (often with dogs), runners, tennis players and horse riders. Walking somewhere between 5km and 8km in total - we had differing views on the distance covered! - the upper path of Kosutnjak brought us to a restaurant for coffees, more chat and a photoshoot in the sunshine.

We would like to thank Vesna Sestovic for leading this walk.
