Clothing Donation to Dress for Success

The IWC dropped off donated clothing on March 25th to Dress for Success studion. The director, Sandra Abramović and her colleague were kind enough to show us the Dress for Success studio - this space showcases a number of fashion (combining modern and traditional styles) and furniture items produced by craftswomen from different regions of Serbia, as well as houses the donated clothing to support the professional development of women in Serbia. Clothing Donation to Svratište

The IWC continues to collect gently-used, clean clothing to donate to various institutions. During the month of March IWC members donated clothes and shoes that are clean and wearable. Volunteer memebers sorted through the donations to fit the needs of eah supported institution. The first delivery was on March 21st to Drop In shelter for streets children (Svratiše). Clothing Donation to Red Cross Homeless Aid Project

The second delivery location for the gently-used clothing donated and collected by the IWC members was also on March 21st to a project by the city of belgrade and the Red Cross to provide clothes, hygiene products and warm food to adults living on the streets. As 80% of the adults who come to this centre are men, the IWC sorted and donated the adult male clothing collected here.
